Wegovy
Wegovy is a once weekly injection. It comes in a pre-filled injectable pen with a disposable needle. It comes in different doses. The starting dose is 0.25mg for the first month and is then gradually increased each month until the maximum dose of 2.4mg. Increasing the dose slowly like this helps your body to get used to the new medication.

Mounjaro

The starting dose is 2.5mg for the first month and is then gradually increased each month until the maximum dose of 15mg. It’s licensed for a maintenance dose of 5, 10 or 15mg. Increasing the dose slowly like this helps your body to get used to the new medication.

Pricing FAQs
Is it a subscription?
No. Some companies operate a subscription model but we decided against this so that people didn’t feel tied in at all. This means that you will have to place an order each month, rather than receiving it automatically. The typical length of time in treatment is 12-18 months, although of course everyone is different, with different goals, so this does vary.
Will you automatically send me a pen each month?
No, we do not automatically send out pens. Instead, each month you’ll need to complete a check-in form (which you can access once you’re logged into your account). You can complete this form once you’ve injected your current pen twice. We send an email a few weeks before your next pen is due reminding you to complete the check-in form. This is just a brief form asking how you are getting on and whether you are happy to increase your dose or would like to remain on the same dose for the next month. If you wish to stop the medication, then you simply don’t have to place your next order. We won’t automatically take any money from your account or send you out a pen. There’s an option on the check-in form to let us know that you’re stopping.
What if I’m not eligible?
If, after reviewing your consultation form and checking your medical records, the prescribing team think you are not eligible for medication, then we’ll email you straight away and let you know and then refund your money in full.
Once I place an order, can I cancel it?
If you change your mind after you’ve placed your order, then don’t worry. Please get in touch with us as soon as possible via the ‘contact us’ page and we will cancel your delivery and refund your money, no questions asked. Please make sure you provide your name and order number. If you have requested next day delivery, then please ensure you contact us as soon as possible. If your medication has already been approved (you can view the order status in your account), then you will not be able to cancel your order and we are unable to offer a refund. This is because of legislation around prescription medication as once it has been allocated to you, it cannot be used by anyone else.
Where do you deliver to?
Slimmr can only deliver to patients who are located within the UK. We also deliver to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man. We do not deliver outside the UK.
Patients in UK Mainland areas in England, Scotland and Wales.
We dispatch orders from our pharmacy in Lancashire Monday to Friday. This means you can receive your parcel Tuesday to Saturday. The last dispatch before the weekend goes at 10.30am on a Friday. If your order is processed after this point, it will be shipped on the next business day, assuming you are approved for the programme. We ship with next-day delivery, so you can expect to receive your order 1-2 business days after dispatch. You are able to select your preferred delivery day when you place your order. However, please be aware that if there are any queries with your consultation or check-in form, the prescriber might need to contact you directly to clarify or check things and this may delay your order by a day or two. The team will call you from a number with a Preston area code (01772), so if you see this number on your caller-display, please do answer it.
Patients in Remote Locations including Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Scottish Highlands and Scilly Isles
Orders placed from patients in remote locations have a 2-day delivery timeframe, and the last day that these are dispatched is on a Wednesday. If your order has been processed after Wednesday 2 pm, it will be shipped the following Monday. Delivery will take 2 working days from the date of dispatch. Please note, to these locations we are unable to use DPD and instead use Royal Mail Special Delivery. In this instance, you will not require a PIN code as this is only for DPD deliveries.
Do I have to sign for my delivery?
You do not have to sign for your delivery. You will, however, be asked by the DPD courier to provide a PIN code so that they can hand over the medication. This PIN code will be emailed or texted directly to you by DPD after your consultation has been approved. If you are not in when the delivery is made but you have arranged for someone else to be there, then it is essentail that you provide them with the PIN otherwise the courier cannot hand over your medication. Please note that if you or another resident at the address opens the door for the courier and isn’t able to provide the PIN code, the parcel will be automatically returned to the pharmacy warehouse and a redelivery attempt will not be made. A further delivery attempt is charged at £20 to cover the cost of processing and redelivery.
Can you ship outside the UK?
No. Deliveries are to the UK only. Due to legal and logistical reasons, we cannot currently send medication outside the UK.
How is the medication kept cold during transit?
The medication is delivered in a special cold-pack to keep it at a low temperature while in transit. This is called ‘cold chain’ transport. This means the pen has been kept consistently cold while being delivered, as though it were in the fridge. For this reason, it’s important to receive your delivery first time round if possible so that the cold chain is not broken.
Please be aware that even if you don’t intend to start the medication immediately, the package must be opened on receipt and the medication stored in the fridge.
Can I contact my courier on the day of delivery?
The only way to contact the courier is through the DPD app. Please make sure you have downloaded the DPD app as this allows you to track your package and also message the driver directly. You can download the app here:
