CBT support for lasting change
Christine is a qualified psychotherapist with many years of experience, including supporting people who struggle with their weight. She practised in Harley Street for nearly 20 years and has a particular interest in health and ageing.
For Slimmr, Christine has created a series of short, easy-to-follow videos based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). CBT helps you understand how your thoughts and habits affect your behaviour, and teaches practical skills to manage challenges around food, motivation and mindset. These techniques are well established in supporting long-term weight loss and positive lifestyle change.
Support for lasting change
Weight loss medications can be highly effective, but lasting results still depend on making changes to daily habits. That can feel daunting, especially when you are already adjusting to treatment. To help, Christine has created a series of short, supportive videos that gently address the psychological side of weight loss.
Each video is around five minutes long, making them easy to fit into everyday life. They focus on practical tools and coping strategies for common challenges, including motivation, self esteem, managing negative comments, coping with side effects, building self compassion, learning from setbacks, improving sleep, and supporting healthy eating habits.
